A Make up and Fashion Styling Workshop – 4th Nov 10am – 5pm – £40

 

Ever wondered what really goes on at a fashion shoot? Would you like to be a make up artist for the day? And learn some take-home skills?

 

Collaborate with student stylists and a professional fashion photographer during this exciting fashion shoot experience.

 

Make up – subjects covered:

 

  • What your role is as a make up artist on a shoot
  • Mood-boards – how to bring your ideas to life and collaborate with a stylist and photographer
  • On set – shoot etiquette
  • Tips and tricks – how to make a model look amazing for the camera

 

Take home tips and tricks

 

  • Learn techniques to perfect your own make up
  • Add a professional touch to your Instagam pics

 

Your Make up Bag & You Workshop – 25th Nov/9th Dec TBC 10am-2pm £60

 

Are you buying the correct make up for your skin tone? Are you stuck in a rut with make up ideas for your eyes? If so, this workshop will provide a unique opportunity to learn professional make up skills, and how to get your desired look working with the contents of your very own make up bag.

 

Suitable for women of all ages, the workshop is run under the expert guidance of Katie Pettigrew – a professional make up artist with over 20-years experience working with high-profile clients within editorial, music, film and TV.

 

The workshop will cover:

 

– Choosing colours that suit you

– Eye shadow techniques for eye shapes and colour

– Concealing and highlighting

– Eyeliner and eyelashes

– Blushes and bronzers

– Lips

– Handy tips on how to keep your make up in place

 

4 hour workshop divided into 2 parts: a demonstration of the techniques followed by a practical class to master your new skills.

 

Group bookings can be arranged and gift vouchers are also available.

 

Make up Foundation Diploma

 

If you’re considering a career as a professional make up artist or if you’re just looking to further your own interest, then our 4-week intensive make up course will provide the expert training you need to progress within the industry.

Whether you want to work in bridal make up, film and TV, editorial or private clients, we can provide solid understanding and in-depth knowledge of professional techniques, skills and applications acquired from over 20 years’ professional make up experience.

Make up students will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with other students from the Styling Course. This will prepare you for your professional career as you research, create mood boards and plan your own photographic shoot.

 

Post Study – Industry experience & support

 

We have built up a wide range of contacts from over twenty years working in the industry and we’re passionate that our students succeed in their chosen career path. So, post study we will be offering support to help students connect to industry opportunities once they have completed their course.

Use of all products including make up, skincare and disposables are included on the course.

 

For all students you will be working on each other, in the case of someone having problematic skin or any other reason you will be required to bring in your own model.
